I love Photoshop! I think I will say it again. I love Photoshop! And I found out a while back that there are some great websites that can help you to learn more about this great graphics design program.

So I have put together a list of some of my favorite websites that have Photoshop tutorials. There is information that can help even the most seasoned graphics designer can use. If you know of another great Photoshop tutorial website, please comment or send me an email here.

1. Smashing Magazine

Smashing Magazine is one of the best websites out there for everything design. I put this one first because it has more than just Photoshop tutorials. I understand I am writing about Photoshop tutorials, but you have to recognize the amount of information that this website has. If you have a question, there is a great chance that Smashing Magazine has the answers. On a side note, they have started publishing books also. So look for those at your local book store or at your favorite online distributor.

2. Psdtuts

Psdtuts has some great free tutorials. But if you are a beginner and you are still trying to learn more about Photoshop, than I highly recommend this website. For $9.00 (US) a month, you can join the plus side of Psdtuts. With this membership you can download sample .psd file for tutorials. But they take it one step further, you will also receive plus membership to Net Plus (web development), Ae Plus (mo graph and VFX), Audio Plus (music and audio) and Vector Plus (vectors and illustration).

3. Photoshop Star

Photoshop Star is a great place to start if you are wanting to learn about Photoshop. They have tutorials that will work on everyone’s level. From the beginner to the most advanced user, you are sure to find something here.

4. Photoshop Lady

There are some of the best Photoshop tutorials around right on this website. This website covers everything from stunning text effects to how to create a portrait in Photoshop. I would not say that this is a website for the beginner. I feel it leans more to the intermediate to advanced level user.
